All new employees start with a one year contract.

If you are working properly, your contract will subsequently be extended by one year. For un-certificated employees it is required that they must have obtained their diploma during that first year.

The “CAO particuliere beveiliging” applies with regard to wages, supplement for irregular hours, holidays, ADV, etc. You can download the CAO here.

Travel expenses are reimbursed based on travel distance from zip code to zip code, or by handing in the original ticket for public transport. For referring new colleagues, a bonus of € 500 gross is awarded for the (first) employee, provided they both are still employed six months after the first day of employment of the new colleague.


Schiphol is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in operation. This means for us that we are present 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will be provided with a year schedule. This means that you will know well in advance when you should work and when you are off. This will also give you an indication of the type of duty you will fulfill on any specific day. You will usually know the exact details 3 weeks in advance.
